Paraguay, where I immigrated into and settled together with my parents in my youth was not such an attractive land.
Actually, I dreamt of becoming an artist, so I wanted to go to Paris, France or New York, US, and study art.
At those times, I had very hard times accepting my reality in which I had to go to Paraguay of Latin American continent which was far from the hub of art.
Doing monotonous works at the factory that my parents ran, local natives always smiled on their faces, I remember.
They looked ridiculous and absurd when people shook their hips and danced to the music.
I cannot understand why they were so happy, despite their tough works they did.
Those days were so dark for me as to feel like escaping from all things given to me.

As long time passed, I realized that where I'm now is not Paraguay but a large continent….
While visiting a lot of Latin American countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia. Bolivia, Costa rica, Ecuador, etc…,
I can feel vividly and acutely how dazzling the sunlights are,
how clean the summer rains are,
how luminously the stars twinkle against the night sky,
how splendid tropical plants and flowering trees blooming four seasons are,
and how indefinite energy the water fall gives.
Besides, I realized that even the most advanced science civilization looks humble when compared with the greatness of the nature.
The strong and dynamic sound of the Iguasu Fall appeared to give a very important lesson of modesty to me who was arrogant and haughty.
Now, I understand why those people smiled innocently.
It is very lucky that I have my mentor called the nature.
